Social X MKE will be a community partner for Black Lens MKE’s Black Love & Joy Week during their month-long Black History Month series. We are seeking Black couples who found love AND individuals exuding Black Joy in Milwaukee to feature. Submissions will be accepted between February 7th and February 13th. All winners will be announced on February 14th.
Black Singles & Couples, please submit your MKE love story (200 words or less) by posting a photo of yourself and/or your partner on your Instagram page.
Please be sure to tag @socialxmke and use the hashtag #SXBlackLoveNJoy.
Each post will be shared by Social X MKE’s IG story to garner additional votes.
The post with the most likes by 2/13 will win a prize for participating in the contest (valued at $150).

For the month of February, Milwaukee Film will dedicate its new programming to films and events that celebrate, honor, and elevate Black culture and traditions. Engage with 30 films by Black filmmakers and a dozen events that inspire conversation, celebration, and community.
