If you are interested in volunteering with the “50th Juneteenth Day History and Heritage Meets Legacy and Promise Festivities, please time you would like to volunteer:

10am - 2pm

2pm - 6pm

TIME REQUIRED 1. We are requesting a four-hour minimum of volunteerism. 2. Please contact us immediately if no longer able to make it. QUALIFICATIONS 1. The ability to work independently and in a team setting. 2. The ability to become knowledgeable about the history of Juneteenth and educational opportunities. 3. Ability to tolerate inclement weather including humidity, heat, rain, cold, lightning and noise.

While it is a day that recognizes the past, it is also a day that looks toward a progressive future. This celebration includes food, speakers, live music, and, of course, one of the largest Juneteenth parades in the country. Help us celebrate this day by committing to a volunteer for a 4hr shift. Duties include: event set-up & tear down, customer service, kid-zone supervisors, and crowd control. More details, here.
