The FEAR Run Scholarship is being created to support the run goals of ONE African-American/Black male and ONE African-American/Black female. The prospective applicants are seeking to register and run their FIRST official half (13.1 miles) or FIRST official marathon (26.2 miles) fall race in the state of Wisconsin, or travel with FEAR to the fall race.
For consideration of the FEAR Run scholarship, prospective applicants must have run with FEAR within the last six months, and demonstrate consistent participation as determined by the FEAR captains. Applicants will complete a questionnaire, including a short written “run narrative” outlining their “Why,” that will be part of the review process.
We ask that all applicants provide truthful information.
Submissions are due by Monday, July 27, 2026 at 11:59pm. Winners will be noticed by Monday, August 3, 2026.
If you have any questions regarding the program or the application, please email tenia@socialxmke.com
