#SXFit21: Tips for Finishing Strong

We’re at the halfway mark of #SXfit21 and I’m certain that you may be hitting the ‘workout wall’. Here are a few tips to help you finish the challenge strong and continue to be diligent on your fitness journey throughout 2021. Sign up for our Xer Only virtual / in-person classes at Brew Fitness on Tuesday Jan. 19 and Friday Jan. 29th

  1. Make a plan and stick to it! Make a workout calendar of which workout you have in mind for each day. Plan for a virtual or in-person class or a quick home workout. Going to the gym during COVID? Pack your gym bag the night before to ensure you’re ready. Check it, then check it again. No one wants to be at the gym without the needed essentials e.g. hand sanitizer, gloves, headphones, masks, towels, gloves, etc.

  2. Find an accountability partner. Working out alone is hard! Find a partner to make sure you’re working out daily. Following friends on social media that post their workout routine always keeps me motivated and gives me that extra boost I need.

  3. Go to a Social X MKE sponsored event. SX Health & Wellness will have events planned throughout the month of January to keep you motivated and mix up your daily workout routine. Sign up for our Xer Only virtual / in-person classes at Brew Fitness on Tuesday Jan. 19 and Friday Jan. 29th

  4. Take care of yourself Make sure you’re staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and listening to your body. Even though this challenge is a competition we want everyone to be fit and safe.

  5. Have fun! This is the most important tip! Plan workouts with friends. Use this time to step outside of your comfort zone and do something different.
